What is GreenTech Innovation Challenge?

The Fidelity GreenTech Innovation Challenge has been launched to support groundbreaking GreenTech solutions that address key challenges within Ghana's agricultural value chain. The challenge will offer entrepreneurs business development support, coaching/mentorship and over GHS 1 million in grants! The challenge targets three tiers of entrepreneurs, each at different stages of development: Ideation, Scale Up, and Commercialization. Our goal is to foster sustainable innovations that can transform the agricultural landscape in Ghana.

Innovation: The idea should be innovative and address a clear agricultural challenge.

Feasibility: The proposal should demonstrate the feasibility of the idea and its potential for development.

Impact: The proposed solution should have the potential to significantly impact the agricultural sector.

Team Composition: A cross-functional team with relevant skills and expertise.

Parties Invited to Apply: TVET Graduates, Smallholder Farmers, Tertiary education students with innovative and scalable ideas.

Established Business: The applicant must have an established business with a proven track record. 

Scalability: The proposed solution should demonstrate potential for scaling up. 

Impact: The solution should address a significant agricultural challenge and have a measurable impact. 

Sustainability: The proposal should include a plan for long-term sustainability. 

Mentorship Needs: A clear outline of the technical assistance and mentorship required for scaling up. 

Market Readiness: The solution should be market-ready and demonstrate potential for commercial success.
